"The Duke is here!" "What a happy Children's Day!" "Thank you, Vice President!" These voices echoed nonstop—it’s April Fools’ Day! No, it’s the Children's Day for future leaders, and everything is real. The Duke arrived at Keelung Zhonghe Elementary School, surprising the children with endless "WOW" moments of astonishment...
On the eve of the spring break, today (April 1st), at exactly 10 a.m., as the bell rang for recess at Keelung Zhonghe Elementary School, a freezer truck quietly drove onto the campus. "WOW! What is this?" Although the school had given prior notice, the first-grade students on the playground were thrilled, thinking it was just a rumor. To their surprise, they witnessed firsthand that this year's Children's Day would bring a surprise and a real experience to over 400 students!
It turns out that last November, together with the 90-year-old founder of “Su Mama's Love for Reading,” Su Mama, Lucky Royal’s Executive Vice President, Lee Kan-Wen, visited the school to experience the Love for Reading rural outreach program. He kept his promise, saying, "Everyone clapped and welcomed me, next time I'll bring Duroyal ice cream." On the eve of Children's Day, Lee Kan-Wen was unable to attend today due to a video conference with overseas clients, so he specially entrusted Su Mama (Su Tsai Cai-Qiu), a member of the same Rotary Club, to serve as the goodwill ambassador. Together with Principal Liu Wen-Qi, they distributed an ice cream to every student during the break.
